MECHANICALLY VENTILATED COVID PATIENTS with high peep and O2 below 150 are considered severe and obviously there has been been huge pulmonary insult to cause this amount of V/Q mismatching.

translation of above probably patients are considered unsalvageable and will not benefit from leronlimab and will need ecmo to survive and will have long last irreversible lung damage

Maybe Dr P asking for exclusion of the sickest 5%
