SEATTLE, Jan 04, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Madison Avenue Research Group has published a white paper outlining the fundamentals behind record number of claims staked for possible uranium mines in the Western United States. Soaring U3O8 prices have resulted in a large number of experienced mining exploration companies shifting focus to lower cost uranium exploration in the proven, prolific, and mining friendly U.S. South West where exploration costs are 80 - 90% less than elsewhere. Record claims in the region are attributed to the vast knowledge base that exists from the previous uranium cycle. Also in the report is an Investment Alert/Special Situation Advisory and Case Study of International Ranger Corp. (PINK SHEETS:IRNG) offering insight and opportunity for investors on their Utah uranium prospects. An abridged version of the report may be viewed free of charge at: http://www.madisonaveresearch.com/U3O8insight.htm..

The report chronicles the success of Trigon Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TEL), only 8 months since diversifying into uranium exploration in Utah's Marysvale and Henry Mountains Mining Districts their stock has gone from the 25 cent/share range (under $8M market capitalization) to over $1 (over $38M market capitalization). In light of the success of Trigon, investors would do well to look at International Ranger Corp. which trades on the OTC Pink Sheets under the symbol IRNG. IRNG is a well financed junior mining exploration Company with offices in New York, Vancouver and California. A month ago International Ranger acquired two uranium properties in the Henry Mountains Mining District of Utah that offer striking comparisons to the Trigon holdings and, more importantly, the Company is nominally valued (under $10M market cap.) similarly to the pre meteoric rise of Trigon.

Excerpts from report: "International Ranger Corp. is currently facilitating the process of confirming and expanding the historical estimates on the Hot Rocks Uranium Prospect in Utah. Considering IRNG has a market cap of under $10M it is not unreasonable to anticipate the stock trading higher, especially with the current valuation relative to their holdings of significance; investors would be remiss in not taking the time to review their growing inventory of uranium prospects (http://www.UraniumMiner.net/IRNG.htm offers a review of all their holdings) ... the Hot Rocks Prospect is proven historically and appears readily minable (historical non NI-43-101 compliant data indicated a total of 166,625 tons with an average grade of 0.2% U308 totaling over 630,000 pounds of uranium in the ground). The Koorsharem Prospect is on what the prospectors believe may be the area of (based on verbal communication from geologists that explored the site in the 40's and sent off samples) a "high grade vein"; geologists with ties to relatives that worked on the property in the 40's have re-entered the area and in so doing have "come across a large highly anomalous zone of radioactive material within this same area."

The report also contains a past production overview of districts and how they relate to the next wave, a review of the first movers, and a uranium price forecast for 2007 that echoes Scotia Economics commodities expert Patricia Mohr's statement, "The fact is uranium was the third best performing commodity in 2006 and will likely be the top performer in 2007." Also mentioned in the report is SXR Uranium One Inc. (TSX:SXR) Mesa Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MZU) and Denison Mines Corp. (TSX:DML).
