It sure is. But, with no other public companies in the Spider Silk field, it really only leaves the one to showcase the difficulties in commercializing products in this realm. As they say, "if it were easy, I guess everyone would be doing it." Especially those with far more resources and personnel than tiny, ol' KBLB. When it comes to producing Spider Silk, it only makes sense a company looking to commercialize based on its performance characteristics would need to weather a few storms.

Did I miss another Spider Silk company that has commercialized Spider Silk on a consistent basis?
