You are not taking into account the amount of "dead" miles a gig worker puts on their car. Once you finish an order you have to drive back to a strategic location back in town to get another order.

When you pick up a personal order you go from point A to point B and back to point A

When working the Apps you go From Point A(starting location) to point B (restuarant/store) to Point C (house). Then you have to drive to a Point D to get another order if its not busy.

And when you run errands you usually hit all those things at once.

If you have others doing errands for you it is divided amongs different drivers at farther distances
