Well, trading about to end for this year. and I have a small tax situation with which help would be welcome. I do NOT know if I need to sell some more loosing stock to off-set my gains for the year.

Anyone who uses "gainsKeeper" (AMTD provides some gainsKeeper help).


When I logged on to AMTD and click on "account" , a menu appears of which one choice from which to choose is"Cost basis"... from there I pull up
"Realized Gain/ Loss" NOW... I believe that all the info for determining
the status of my consumated gains and losses are determined and reported there daily and totaled for the year , up to the day reported.

This is rather wordy but trying to incorporate enough detail to get the situation clearly understood.
