Fisker Inc is the current company and has not had any bankruptcies.

Fisker Automotive went in to bankruptcy in 2013. While this is not Fisker Inc, had Fisker Automotive not gone into bankruptcy there would probably never had been the startup of Fisker Inc.

Wanxiang won the auction bidding of Fisker Automotive's assets during bankruptcy. Wanxiang also bought the battery supplier to Fisker, A123. This company, which was a rebrand of Fisker Automotive and the Karma vehicle, was called Karma Automotive. Karma has had their own difficulties with design, recalls, and finances. Karma, while built from the original Fisker Automotive, is not related with Fisker Inc

Both were founded/co-founded by Henrik Fisker. Seems obvious by the name who had the controlling position in Fisker Automotive. Henrik left the Board of directors at Fisker Automotive before the bankruptcy, again, obviously keeping his name as branding.

Fisker Group Inc was founded with him and his wife. Fisker Inc is the automotive company in the group.
