It's hard to say exactly what happened. He might have hit a major artery in his leg and simply bled out. You can go real quick that way.

I'm sure there will be a coroner's inquest as to what happened.

My point is there are accidental shootings every day that can be avoided with proper training if this is the case.

Drop a clip out of a pistol and forget there is one in the chamber etc.

The sad thing is the kid had a lot of potential and why he thought he needed a gun in the first place at his age is just stupid.
