As it is, I would think that it would be a wash sale, so you may not have anything to declare, except that you have to factor in the reduction of your cost basis for when do you eventually sell, but...

Obviously consult your own tax advisor or software or whatever. You have a few months to figure it out.

Me, I am allergic to wash sales in taxable accounts, although I may have one with Palantir tomorrow, and if not tomorrow, maybe New Year’s Eve. We shall see. Me and my cash covered puts, and covered calls. Trying to get 5% out of one stock every week (versus 5% every six months with Cred; what a “reward not worth the risk” fool I was!).
