You have admitted to being a paid skeptic, so I understand that you are just doing your job here. However, the fact that this company is informing its shareholders of what is going on is far from a red flag, it is quite the opposite, it is a very good sign and is very healthy. Everyone wants to know the company's mission and direction. A good leader (military, corporate or otherwise) always informs his troops of the mission BEFORE it is carried out, not after.
