FHFA Announcement implies that the GSEs will be released from Conservatorship. Like the Liquidity Rule news release a few days ago it implies that the ground is being laid for the release but that the FHFA is taking all the necessary steps to ensure they will properly managed outside of Conservatorship.

This seems like the 2nd or 3rd shoe dropping. Still waiting for the 1st shoe to drop which would be a UST announcement regarding the PSPA.
