However the issue I see is that Amazon sells virtually EVERYTHING on earth that you can think of in every category imaginable. Where Cannmart only sells one specific type of product group related to weed. sure there is hardware like pipes, bongs and weed itself but thats it. Its all targeted to one market. So in essence all the vendors will be competing against each other on Cannmart. Will vendors be willing to do that? how can this be scaled where vendors see improved sales when they are competing against each other?
Example: You can have a 5k vendors on Amazon all selling different groups of items. Cannmart if you have 5k vendors they are all selling in the same group of items thus all competing against each other. it would be very difficult for each vendor to differentiate from other vendors on Cannmart at scale.
If a specific the vendor sends traffic to Cannmart to buy their items will they be credited for a % of sales if the customer decides to buy a different item? Especially with AI making recommendations on website and via email campaigns. Vendors would essentially be giving Cannmart their buyers information and can be used to upsell different products/services.
Will vendors really want to relinquish their customers information? Will vendors automatically become affiliates so they get credited for additional or optional sales their customers buy?
Again I like the concept of Vendor link just looking for clarification on how it can be scaled effectively.
Would like everybodys input on this.
