Oh God....here we go again with all the conversion nonsense talk.
"The companies will be responsible for their own capital raises"
This means after the outstanding issues with the government ownership of pspa and warrants at hand is resolved along with other things like the amendment. Nothing is happening until these issues are addressed and companies attain the goal that is set for consent decree. At that point the companies make their own decisions, out from under the fhfa controlling everything to the fhfa monitoring and regulating - totally different ballgame at that point. If companies regain their decision authority, then common sense says shareholders regain their vote. Then, and only then do they commence raising capital, however is deemed most beneficial.

Nothing the government is currently doing is going to provide a giant windfall for JPS. Their focus is not JPS. The endgame is not JPS. There is only commons being commons and JPS being JPS until the companies regain the reins. Fhfa and treasury, if smart and wise will let the BOD's pick winners and losers when, or even if capital needs to be raised.
