Colubris has almost zero patent protection. Also Colurbis FDA approved clinical trial is for the endoluminal - they have basically shelved SP with all their focus on Endoluminal.

Well if you were Murtha, you would probably end up doing what he ended up doing is go and partner with Titan Medical and ask them to help Medtronic develop and build out their surgical robotic platfrom using IP and know how. ENOS - "of one" platform - multi, single and endoluminal.

Rather than guess at what Murtha is doing why don't you take notice of what Murtha ACTUALLY DID - partner with Titan. I don't see Medtronic utilizing Colubris IP (if there is any) and know how to help them build out their robotic surgery platforms.
