It's kinda amazing that with all the political Nigerian articles brought to us by Homeport and Daynighttrader and others, there's never a reference to the Country of Biafra 1967-1970. For those who don't remember or are too young, modern day Niger Delta is Biafra, their largest city being, none other than, Port Harcourt. It was a horrible bloodbath and the results were not too dissimilar than Dafrur. Celebs, such as Joan Baez and Jimi Hendrix helped to bring attention to the terrible atrocities committed.
