We’ll all have more shares due to a forward split, and then the buyback will keep the OS low.
So maybe a 1-to-3 stock split (forward split), giving us 3 times as many shares.
And that puts OS at 500 million or so.
Then they buyback half of those shares eventually.
The new OS after buyback would be 250 million.
But then we’d have 3 times the amount of shares.
LONGS after that will have more % equity in the company.
Apple has done several forward splits, and it has always added shareholder value.
