Age old argument popped up in another forum, "the SS is fine, it doesn't need an RS"...This is the biggest denial that gets custodian players in trouble. Getting involved in a RM because you think new owners won't do an RS because of the Share structure. This gets proven wrong constantly and yet the statement keeps coming up. It came up in PFMS today after it already had a RS attempt! FINRA couldn't be satisfied so it didn't happen and RM was cancelled. Absolutely no reason the next suitor won't try too. If he has his crap together, FINRA will process it.
New owners don't RS because of the SS, they RS to get a clean restart on their purchase. They want control over the shares to make them money, that's why they bought it.
They don't need a bunch of legacy share holder barnacles whining about everything in forums.
There is no reason for them not to RS. No downside for them at all.
