NEOM will be accessed thru Wi-Max. Many Wi-Max patents are held by Wi-Lan on the TSX (WIN). After winning a court case against Cisco, Wi-Lan received a few weeks ago a payment of $50,000,000 from Nokia in Royalty Fees.
Shortly Wi-Lan will be listed on the Nasdaq. The share price will take off. In 2000 Wi-Lan hit $90 CDN. This past summer WIN hit 60 cents!!! In November '06 I sold half my position @ $1.85 to take my money out and to play for free and one month later it hit $5.55.
AGAIN THIS PAST FRIDAY IT TOUCHED THAT RECENT HIGH.
A few weeks ago I posted a link here of an interview of the CEO talking about how he is focused on licencing rather than litigating but the early discount for licencing will come this spring. He stated that Nokia was one of 150 trees in a forrest.
Jonsie, you might want to take a look at the chart.
In my opinion it is early in the game of wireless telecommunications. The momentum looks HUGE to me.
Full disclosure, I still own a few shares. Just trying to give you guys once again notice of this stock. I hope you paid attention to the video I posted before. WIN expenses are $3,000,000 pre year!
Look what happened to Nextwave after getting onto Nasdaq this week.
One place to follow a bb for Wi-Lan is Stockhouse.com
Good luck to all
