It feels like Trump is doing anything/everything that will force Biden to "react" rather than push policy. Additionally, he seems to be doing things that will make life difficult for Biden. That said, and doing my best to get away from politics, it seems forcing the release of the GSEs prior to Biden having any opportunity to force his own policy on the GSEs would be the ultimate goal as it has been with numerous other things to date. So, for me, it seems this is another very helpful aspect to this case - even beyond what we just heard during the SCOTUS hearing.
