I have owned a Chevy a Ford and now a Toyota..... I would say by far a Prius is the best car i have ever had. a stress free low cost/ low maintenance. Great on gas car. 55mpg city is great. 105k miles on it.

NEver had any engine problems. Never had to change the brakes. Has not made any weird noises yet. the only thing to worry about is tires. and an oil change every 10k miles

I feel like Hybrids are the best of both worlds at the moment.

My Ford Exploder went at 96k miles. The alternator went. constant battery problems. Oil leaks started to happen. Noises etc.

My Chevy Spark the coolant tank rupture on 3 separate occasions. The belts wore down way to fast. The brakes were horrible and i would always have some misalignment issue crop up. That car eventually crapped out at 140k miles.
