Elmer I'm not perfect, I just want to be successful more times than not.

I'm not griping at you. I think you're executing a reasonable strategy. It's not the way I play the game but it's a way that can work.

I just expected a different, longer explaination.

That's all there was to it.

This may not be the best strategy but so far it's working for me.

What ever works works. I prefer bidding(GTC) for long out of the money calls and puts with no bid(or $0.05). Or short out of the moneys with only a day or two to go around cc or analyst update time.

When I see a change in market perception coming.

Your way will provide frequent small gains with occasional large losses. My way will provide frequent small losses with occasional large gains.
