Hoghead or others who are watching Connectibut: It appears that the document posted yesterday, that appeared to show that FCEL "won," was actually a well-reasoned argument by a legislator on behalf of confirming the FCEL project to move ahead. (Unless a different document was posted, that I could not access)
Does anyone know when and how we will get word about the action of the group that met Friday? They could have re-affirmed FCEL, given the project to the solar company in spite of the irregularities in application, or postponed decision. I would expect the decision to have a short-term effect on share price, though not a long-term effect on the success of our company.
If they reverse their decision and go solar, FCEL will need to work harder on strategies to overcome resistance to technologies that include even a little bit of fossil fuel use. As long as Republicans control +/- 50% of the Senate, we are not going to see any total and absolute ban on fossil fuel use any time soon, however.
