He retired from Morgan, Lewis in 2002 and has continued to practice law specializing in general corporate matters with a particular emphasis on corporate acquisitions and mergers, general security matters and corporate governance.

Sam served on the Boards of Directors of Western Publishing Group, Inc. (NASDAQ), Baldwin Technology, Inc.
