I believe that there was enough cash to close a deal or two and then a second (or third) deal showed up and they had no "dry powder" for it... Financial inst pay more attention to $50 million+ deals which leaves a lot of $3 million - $10 million deals out there without a way to finance them... like rehabilitating a facility or something like that...
