It took longer than expected for OPEC and its allies, meeting by videoconference, to reach agreement.
But they succeeded.
23 countries.
13 OPEC members.
And 10 associated countries led by Russia.
They agreed to increase their production.
A little.
Less than expected.
Demand is still low given the second wave of the pandemic.
Oil prices have welcomed this agreement by progressing to a level close to $50 for brent, and above $46 for crude.
