nope, does not work that way. if something is not working out to one's satisfaction, cut bait and move on. thinking one is "stuck" is disaster mentality imo.

let me give an example. I was way under in IMUN awhile back. just tanked on me and I held on a bit longer than I should have thinking it might bounce back. I dumped my position, took the 70% loss, and rolled the cash into a different play a couple of weeks later that I saw was shaping up nicely. made 350% on that one holding it for a couple of weeks. made up all my loss in IMUN and then some. this is NOT uncommon, it has happened to me quite a few times. not every play turns up aces. the point is, you need to have a plan, stick to it, and don't hamstring yourself from taking advantage of other recovery opportunities.

sometimes, I will hold a beatdown useless position because I still see potential for it down the road- for example, I held NECA for almost 2 years at 0001. well look at what that one did this week. I banked 1000%. sometimes plays take a bit longer to unfold than expected. trust your gut and instinct.

another- RSHN, held that for 1 year. just banked 400% on it. where else am I going to get 400% return on my money in 12 months? a bank?? lol.

so- you are only "in too deep" if you tell yourself that. in reality you are not. there are countless opportunities in otc every single day.

make plans - stick to them - trade better - make money - be in control

I like to see everyone win, so I hope my thoughts (FWIW) are taken in the spirit they are given. btw- none of the above is bragging. I have paid my dues, had plenty of clinkers. the result of learning as I go, not repeating the same mistakes, and watching / listening to advice from traders much wiser than I, resulted in upping my game. nothing special and no magic. it's simply knowledge and a proper frame of mind.

My opinions are my own and are not a suggestion to buy or sell stocks. Always do your own homework.
