Part of the Plan that allowed BTU to come out of its
BK 4 years ago was that they had to clean up their
mines.
Gotta admit they are still being ordered to, and
working on, that.
The hoops the greenees put coal through are actually
more expensive than the mining to get the coal itself
was in the first place.

Maybe this brief BTU stock run up is (was) the last
gasp for coal?
That's gonna make it a cold dark winter

Adage Capital must be crying their eyes out at
the huge stock drop these last few days.
But they still got $$billions to offset their
5,000,000+ shares of BTU.
