I do a lot of cogen such gas turbines and fuel cells.

Its funny though, I actually did an install out in western MA about 5 years ago that burned certain kinds of leaves and made "Bio-Char". They burned the leaves at about 1500f and the byproduct made a great fertilizer. Then they took the oils that came off and split them to run an engine that powered the heating coils. Kind of the same concept.

Cogen is great. In this situation people will pay us to take the waste so you don't need the end product such as bio-char.

In there case the leaves were free but they needed the end product for $$

I like this situation better
