10 year interest rate just dropped 1% in the last 30 minutes (relative terms, not actual interest rate). Usually moves that fast are followed by equities also dropping a short time later (works vice-versa also). Seems people move into bonds before equities get wind. Or people sell bonds and then put it into equities when the markets are going up. But generally bonds move first.
