Thank you for reaching out. My last report from the site was Friday, and they were at that point down about 80m in hole #4. I assume that hole is complete by now, and that they have moved the rig to the next target area. I expect an update tonight or tomorrow. We will tweet that update out as soon as it is received. We should be drilling right through to mid-December.
We’d like to get back to follow up drilling at McKenzie as soon as possible. January is a distinct possibility and we are in discussions now with Rimini Exploration to go over the variables. We have some choices there. We could follow up drill near the two holes that hit lengthy lower-grade intercepts. That was very much a technical success as you need length to establish economics, and to that point, we’d only managed both historically and within our own drill program, to see narrow intervals of higher grade gold. We’d like to find an area where the grades and the lengths of the intercepts are greater, and the discovery of the zone holes 7 & 8 found may be a place to find that, if it’s there.
We can also drill on the island itself, and with winter it is the time of year to do it. The island has had so many bonanza grade grab samples recovered that it is a very compelling drill target. In any case, Warren is working with Rimini to go through the where’s, when’s and how’s, and we’ll put some news in a week or so updating the market on the plan.
