The article clearly states that 250 common shares convert to one preferred share.

Therefore the value of each preferred shares is 250x of each common share.

Call your broker. The holding period is two years for these series C preferred shares, before they can be converted to common shares.

Both dividend programs they offered are the same preferred shares.
The freebies we all got are indeed the same Series C preferred shares.

The tender offer that they offered was another way to obtain Series C preferred shares, but you had to exchange your common shares for them.

The advantage of the preferred shares, is that as you continue to hold them, you get paid a dividend.
The common shares do not pay a dividend.
