The Linden case will follow the same general course as the Activision case. The claims construction has already been established in the ATVI case and should be similar. They won't re-invent the wheel here.

Linden won't settle until we at least clear the 101 decision. Then a trial date for ATVI should be set sometime between July-Sept 2021. Linden could hold out through that time period. What we need is a win in Court or a settlement from ATVI. After that, the other infringers will realize it is futile and line up to pay. Companies don't pay until they are legally cornered. If they wanted to pay they would have licensed the tech from WDDD. They all play the odds that WDDD will go bankrupt or get killed off at PTAB etc. We have cleared those hurdles. Now these companies are waiting on the 101.

No one pays while there are outstanding legal issues/knockout factors that could derail WDDD.

After these final hurdles are cleared and it is headed to Court, then and only then, will you possibly see a settlement. This is simply my opinion.
