Yes. We have. Through STUPIDITY. It is so simple an amoeba could understand it:

CoronaVirus spreads via the MOUTH. So if you cover the mouth in public enclosed spaces (not the beach..but if you don't have a mouth covering in open spaces, then distancing IS necessary), it won't spread, or at least a LOT LESS.

There is a need for a law/order requiring mouth coverings in public enclosed spaces. We have laws for drunk driving. There is NO difference between them. Both can lead to physical harm or death.

There is a REAL NEED for informing the populace of How Covid spreads.

No need for 'lockdowns'. No need for 'social distancing'. No need to close MOST businesses.

Restaurants and bars must take special precautions though. Because you can't eat and drink and wear a mouth covering at the same time. (TakeOut, Delivery, etc.)

Way too many people just don't have the brain capacity or knowledge to grasp this simple idea..

And for a lot of them, their Steamship EGO overrides their Canoe sized brain.
