Your wrong the Avg trade like the one we saw today did not raise or lower the OS. Shares that have been converted into the float can be bought or sold. Sure there can be sellers selling quantities of shares but they do not raise the OS hence the dilution has already occurred. Again the OS is not going up as some have stated hence the AS is not going up. That's the important concept to understand about what dilution does to SS.
