Went to a breakfast the other day with some actual Republicans (no 'Temporary Republican' Trump cultists present).
We worry more about mayors, village presidents, township supervisors, state legislators, congressional representatives, etc. etc. than Trump.
Anyway, it was sort of a subject that no really wanted to talk about but once the subject was broached, there was pretty much unanimous agreement that we would have done better in the down-ballot races if Trump hadn't been at the top of the ticket. Sort of like a big sigh of relief went around: "Hey! We can talk about this now!!"
We also were unanimous in the opinion the RNC is need of major overhaul. They've been negligent in regard to support of Illinois Republicans. The RNC has sort of written us off as a lost cause due to Crook County.
If the current RNC won't support us, we may be more inclined to keep our resources local.
I think Trump should stay out of the Georgia Senate run-off. We have a better chance with keeping the Senate, if would Trump would just fade off the scene.
