Clifford Emmons and Antony Coufal have, IMO, taken volatility to the extreme. Who could look charitably on them when over the course of nearly 3 years they took a company with revenue and turned it into a company with ZERO revenue.

Are they so lacking in salesmanship that they couldn't find a single customer to throw them a bone during Q3 '20?

We're talking about an industry valued at 100 BILLION. For Emmons and Coufal to not take anything from such a massive industry tells me that either their product doesn't work, and/or, they can't close a deal.
