Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Management chair on capital strategy & growth focus

Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Ltd (LSE:CORD) Chairman Steven Marshall talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s capital allocation strategy and growth outlook, particularly in the context of rising interest rates and macroeconomic pressures. Digitalbox CEO James Carter on strong 2024 growth and 2025 outlook

Digitalbox PLC (AIM:DBOX) CEO James Carter takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s strong 2024 performance and its strategy heading into 2025. The company delivered a 31% increase in revenue during the year, with Carter describing it as “a good turnaround year.” He pointed to audience growth that outperformed broader news media trends, and revenue growth that exceeded global digital advertising market averages. Carter credited the success to the strength of Digitalbox’s brands and editorial teams, as well as the company’s in-house Graphene Ad Stack technology. “The editorial teams are really very well tuned into what their audiences want,” he said. Among standout performers were TV Guide, which achieved 90% traffic growth in Q4 following a move to a web app format, and The Tab, which benefited from social media asset integration. The Poke also saw a 22% increase in traffic following increased content investment. The company expanded its portfolio from six to eight brands in 2024, aiming to reach ten by the end of 2025. Looking ahead, Carter said 2025 is in line with expectations so far, and Digitalbox remains “cautiously optimistic” amid projected 10% growth in the digital ad market. Saunders expands defense & fuel infrastructure work

Saunders International Ltd Managing Director and CEO Mark Benson talked with Proactive at the AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company’s strong momentum, recent project wins and the strategic expansion into defense and infrastructure sectors. Benson highlighted Saunders’ transformation from a tank constructor to a multi-disciplined, end-to-end engineering and construction provider. “We’ve diversified and become a multi-disciplined business… Now some of the projects we can do end-to-end,” he said, referencing the company’s work on the **Western Sydney Airport**, where it completed all elements from fuel tank construction to apron pipeline delivery. He also noted Saunders’ acquisition strategy as a driver of growth, enabling delivery of complex infrastructure through internal capabilities. Notable acquisitions include piping, civil infrastructure, and automation companies, helping the company expand its offering and grow organically and through M&A. Benson discussed the company’s extensive work in the defense sector, including the **Larrakeyah Defense Precinct** in Darwin, where Saunders handled the complete marine diesel infrastructure — from delivery to ship fueling — a capability he said sets the company apart. “Typically it’s done through 3 to 6 contractors. Now we can do that end to end.” The company now sees a $2.3 billion pipeline of directly addressable opportunities, with up to $4.8 billion in total defense-related fuel infrastructure upgrades anticipated across the next decade. Saunders is actively tendering for $580 million of that. Benson said Saunders’ unique value in defense projects includes not just technical delivery but risk reduction for government clients. “In defense, it’s not all about price. Sometimes price evaluation is only 30%. Airtasker CEO on growth, AI & global expansion
