If 82,000 lbs of narcotics are being seized by CBP in a single month, how much more actually make it past the border? I assume this has been deemed an acceptable loss margin to continue business. Only about 30% of what is sent through is caught. That’s the best estimate. Cartels will send multiple shipments expecting about 30% to be seized. Looks like Drug consumption and demand in the US is through the roof. The Drug rehab/behavioral therapy treatment center sector has never been hotter. Hold em all, JPS02.

Nationwide, @CBP seized over 82,000lbs of drugs in October, a 66% increase over September. Interceptions of “hard” narcotics increased in every category:
