I think insurance let’s me get a new mask every six months. They will let you change parts sooner. The machines are about $700-800 so you have to use them a lot longer. My problem has always been I feel like I’m suffocating when exhaling which causes me to throw the mask on the floor during the night.
This mask has the best airflow of any mask I have ever used. I don’t ever feel like I’m suffocating and have had great sleep using it. I wish it supported the weight of the tubing better so it would weigh down on my lip and I have told Tom that. The only other complaint is the headband comes off to easy. This mask looks like others but the air flow is way better. My normal 11-12 pressure is down to 5-6 and I breathe way better. I wish I could figure out how to post a picture.
