(To my knowledge), this is the first hydrocarbon export permit Mexico has EVER granted to the private sector.

1. See how long this has taken them? Postponed by the month this entire year! I have long felt that Sempra obtaining this permit (making an FID) was a huge indicator of what is happening with the CRE and AMLO with regards to our projects.

2. AMLO spoke months ago about this ECA LNG permit (and reiterated just last week), that Mexico would agree to issue the permit, only if Sempra would agree to build in addition the Salina Cruz LNG facility. Sempra would only agree to build the Salina Cruz LNG facility if there was going to be gas there to liquify! Hello, Sempra! Good to have you as a customer!
