Extremely risky. That's why shorting's so rare, despite the myths. $2.50/share margin requirements, fees, interest, lousy risk-reward....

Some "Click-Bait" sites misleading hype meaningless daily "short volume" as Shorts. Those site get ad revenue by luring traffic by promoting nonsense.

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence...
