I know some people fear Draconian measures from the new Coronovirus Team..even trotting out the "death panels" approach to seniors relying on out of context academic musings by Ezekial Emmanuel as proof medication will be blocked to anyone 75 years old.... it's just tinfoil hat nonsense promulgated while tens of thousands of seniors have already died under the current policy

..what reality reveals is that the current purge of epidemiologist specialists and the politicization of the science has been an abject failure...how Scott Atlas became the authority for the pandemic response is remarkable to me.... herd immunity via unchecked spread is as dead as the people dying currently because some States seem to think we are rounding the corner..

We could have locked down our country for 6 weeks at the beginning of this pandemic, tested and contact traced, paid everyone enough to survive and been mostly done with this...I would be then sitting in a packed stadium watching my Alma Mater and beloved Chicago Bears play some damn football

I get it..we are a big country, diverse in so many ways and some folks believe concerted national public health policy is an assault on their freedom

..in a macabre way this unique American mindset is great for B....if it works then the hard work of controlling the virus is over...take B and have at it....there will be a crapload of millionaire longs but I hate stepping over piles of dead people to make money
