not sure what you mean 'adjusted up' . The prices are reflecting the bids and the asks. If we close at 35c and some good news comes the bid and the ask tomorrow morning will be higher than 35c. But this is not due to some artificial adjustment, it will be due to the adjustment of the investors sentiment and higher bids and asks.
