Dr. Zasloff

Michael Zasloff
Michael A. Zasloff is an American physician, medical researcher, and entrepreneur. Zasloff is primarily known for his work on antimicrobial peptides. See below:

In 1986 he discovered magainins, a family of antimicrobial peptides in the skin of the African clawed frog.

Magainins is the basis that Dr. DeGrado used to develop Brilacidin with the team at the U of Penn. (pretty sure of this but not positive)so in effect Brilacidin owes its development based on the findings of Dr. Zasloff.

One would think he has a pretty good idea of the strengths and weaknesses of Brilacidin.
