JK, I hardly think that BYND would have increased in value 14% with McDonald's notifying everyone they were going with BYND, so I don't understand the 14% beating it's taking this morning. Do you?

1052 ET - McDonald's says it's introducing its own line of plant-based products, pivoting from a test with Beyond Meat. McDonald's says in an investor update it will make the "McPlant" products themselves. Rivals such as Burger King and Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. partnered with manufacturers like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods Inc. McDonald's tested Beyond Meat patties in Canada earlier this year, though the test didn't expand. McDonald's says McPlant could extend across burgers, chicken and breakfast, and some markets will text products next year. ([e-mail]; @heatherhaddon)
