Least we forget that Roosevelt saved this country from becoming what populist at the time want was an autocratic authoritarian State. Roosevelt saved this capitalist democracy with a little socialist program called Social Security. Granted that program has become a mess but, it also has been neglected for decades. Our feelings aren’t facts and history will judge this time and we will know the verdict then. So reminiscent of the 1920’s history repeated people. If anything that I have said at all today please take that into account. History repeated itself even in the market!
