I just LOVE commission free trading.

When the original r/s notice (at 1:12) came out, it said that there would be no fractional shares and no "cash in lieu" of fractional shares - any fraction after the 1:12 would be round UP to a single new share.

Since I trade commission free, I figured "what the hell" and bought one share at .04 in each of 5 accounts. I figured that even if the r/s caused a 50% slide I would make a few pennies.

Subsequently, they changed the r/s to be 1:120, but maintained the handling of the fractional shares.

Sure enough, today I had 1 NEW share in each of those accounts, and was able to sell each of them at $7.10 !!!! It's only beer money in terms of the amount, but I will take a return of 177x any time, any where!

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
