I think that is a really great article, from a published science writer who is an AstroPhysist with a PHD

But you're absolutely right, he doesn't mention "HALEU" and a lot of other stuff.

For example, he doesn't mention the 4Th Mass Extinction Event that we are now moving towards in slow motion. It is called Climate Change right now but it will later be referred to in far more ominous terms.

We may have already passed the, so called, "tipping point" where we could actually do something to avoid it. But if we can't avoid killing the entire human race then the whole argument in favor of nuclear energy is very much a moot point.

So Good Luck breathing in the future.

On final point I would like to share... The 3rd Mass Extinction Event, identified in the geologic record, brought about the rise of mammals and eventually the human race. If WE DIE then who (or what) will inherit the world? Will it be insects? Or perhaps an entire new race of Virus' ??
