Hi arizona1, I understand that when europe f's up and closes the barn door after the horses have left, it's ok for you and millions of TDS'ers.
But not ok when the US does the same thing.
By the way, there have been lockdown protests all over western europe for the past several days. Not a single red MAGA hat to been seen.
Also, don't compare us to small asian island or peninsula nations. Or china. The US is an open country, we're overweight (higher risk), 35% of us are african american or hispanic (also higher risk).
Just admit that whatever "national strategy" western european nations had the we didn't have didn't work.
By the way, mask wearing and social distancing isn't a strategy, it's a stop gap policy. The real strategy - get a vaccine and other treatments - that until now took years to create - available in less than a year - now that's a strategy.
