Uncle Gee Gee. I agree. From the beginning I have thought that because this is a phase 2/3 trial and the fact that they have only 144 patients (Remdesivir had around a 1000) tells me the drug is so effective that they thought only need 144 patients would be needed. After the first review the FDA thought the results where so strong that it would be very possible that 102 patients would be all they would need.

The small number of patients is a positive.

I still think they may have increased the number of patients because of the unexpected positive results of dexamethazone. The number increases to 144 shortly after Dex showed a 30% increase in survival of late stage patients.

At this point none of that matters. We just wait. Best of luck to us!
