Makes sense, it must be pretty hard to put out a blog saying we've made "XXX amount of money in XXX year" or we have "XXX orders waiting that will bring in XXXX dollars", or we "XXX quantity of XXX product that cost us XXX to make but makes us XXX dollars of Profit"

I mean, previous financials were not audited anyhow, so it makes no legal difference.
